Whats a good hairstyle for someone with curly hair but that will also look good straightened?

I have curly hair now and normally i just leave it curly but when i straighten it, it doesnt look that great...it it because i dont have any form of bangs?

My friend has hair like yours, it's naturally really curly but sometimes she straightens it. She has some bangs off to the side, sort of like side swept but thinner. It looks really good, and she has some really cute headbands and clips too. =]

You could maybe put some hair loosely in a barrette, or put your hair in a loose ponytail and put it over one shoulder depending on how long it is.

long layers flat iron. you need shape so it looks good either way - curly or straight

I have curly hair and when i straighten it, it can sometimes look weird...i have longer bangs I wear parted..which helps..but those head bands help..i have a few of those..or i pull a little up like..on the top of my head by the beginning of my bangs with a hair clip, or I pull half of it up...or I will throw a few loose curls with a curling iron in it to make it a lil messier...Good Luck!
