when you get out of the shower, comb it out and untagle it, after that leave it alone, because if you keep brushing it then the curls will become limp and poofy. if your hair is already poofy/curly spray it with a frizz-easing formula, you can find those in rite-aid or sav-on or any store really.

I am African American so I have a different grade of hair (if you are Caucasian) but I too know my hair will poof after dry and combing; too avoid that I use leave in conditioner, it seems to work good.
