I have curly hair and it is always frizzy. Are there any products or homemade remidies that can help?

There is this stuff called Pure Shine Frizz Remedy. It works wonders. Just be careful not to put too much on the top of your head because it makes your hair look oily. I use it and my frizz is gone.

Frizz ease by john Frieda is good. I love After Party by BedHead the stuff is amazing and smells awesome. Most salons carry it and it is in a hot pink pump

Any salon can tell you a thousand remedies. You just have to ask the right people.

You're in luck. I know something that works out. Dryer sheets. Take one and smooth your hair with a dryer sheet. It will work, and it smells nice too(if you like to smell like clean laundry).

Here's the deal on frizz!!!! Hair that is curly has a octogon shapped root. As a result, the sebatious oils can never travel down the hair shaft smoothly consequently, you end up with dryer hair. When hair is dryer, it seperates more from itself and that's where frizz comes in. Hair proteins tend to want to bond together but with frizzy or curly hair, it's harder for it to do that. To avoid frizz, there are several things you can do: first off, if you don't straighten with a blow dryer, then you must NOT comb, brush or do anything that seperates the hair after you wash and moisturize. Only towel dry with it up and twisted. (you know, the way you tuck it under and can walk around with the towel head). Once you let it down, don't do anything but put either a gel or a silicone based product. I personally do not care for frizz ease, it's cheap silicone and it doesn't work. I have very curly hair and I can get it bone straight with my Solano blow dryer and special brushes but I use high quality products and silicone shiners. You have to spend the money for curly or frizzy hair, you just have to I don't care what anyone says. High maintenance hair requires special needs that the average hair product company does not invest in researching and mannufacturing, period. I would suggest Schwartzkoff, Frederick Fekkai, Mattrix, Joico and maybe Lanza. Yes, all costly but they work. Trust me!! If you blow it out, make sure that when you're blowing it straight, it is with the right brush, a round boar bristle brush. You have to section it and make sure each section is completely straight. WHen that's done, you've sealed the cuticle and you can literally go out in drizzle and your hair will stay straight. I just moved to Boston where it's rained for the past week and my hair is still bone straight-it's blowing my mind actuallY!!! But I spent $20 on a straightening balm by Frederick Fekkai. Sorry, i know it's a long answer but you have to know the facts to really be able to work with it!!!

Try a hair oil or a serum, serum can go on the hair when its wet or when its dry!

A lot of tropical island gals use natural %26amp; pure coconut oil. I think it smells good and boost shine.

garnier fructis is the only line of products that works for my curly frizzy hair. i use both shampoo, condition, and deep conditioner each time i wash wash my hair(which should only be 2 to 3 times a week, especially if your hair is hard to manage because the more you wash, the drier it gets, therefore the frizzier it will get) i also use leave in conditioner, smoothing milk, and hair gloss, all by garnier. Redken anti-snap also smells and works great.
