I don't have a lot of time ever so what should i do with my curly frizzy hair so it looks good?

I'm planning on getting my hair trimmed or cut soon and i don't know what to do. I have dark brown, curly and frizzy hair just past my shoulders. it is slightly layered and i don't want to lose too much length, but it never looks good. it seems to wash me out. it doesn't look to good without some hair around my face, with my curly hair is there a style of bangs that looks good? i don't have a lot of time in the morning to do anything to it. Any suggestion on cut, bangs, color, products would help.

p.s. would it look too weird if i dyed it red, when my dark roots grew in?

omg my hair is the exact same way everything about it! my advice is to take a shower at night and use lots of conditioner, and blow dry it. then the next morning use a ceramic straitener. if that doesn't work for you then use a friz controll and show off that curly hair! o and i would dye it if i were you. hope this helps a little!

to beat frizz, try leaving some of your conditioner in after you wash your hair. i know that wierd but i promise it works, b/c i also have lots of long frizzy curly hair!! the good news about highlighting and coloring curly hair, is that it hides dark roots well!! i haven't done my color in almost three months and it still looks great! wash it one day and wear it in a messy bun, then dry it the next morning. that will give you two or three days worth of styles and save you alot of time!! the conditioner will help with frizz, the color will look great you can ask for face framing layers if you're nervous about bangs! good luck!!

Honey, go take the computer analysis that will show you different cuts and styles, colors that will look good on you. There is a lot that depends on how a style is for you, hair texture, color and cut. If you think your color makes you look washed out, like me, get hi lites that are very natural looking (not the chunky big stripes) and just around the front and sides like me (cost less). You can also use a little different color of your same shade( I like Garnier Nurtricus) and color it yourself then go to the salon for the hi lites, like me (cost a lot less). Make sure the hi lites are not too lite blonde. Good luck, have fun and God Bless, Elle

If it is too thick, you might consider having your stylist thin it a little. I would go for a classic bob that way you can straighten it or wear it curly and it will still look good. They have this product called Curl Up and it works wonders. When I style my clients hair using this, they always go and get some. I have included some links in which you can find it. As far as coloring, I would go with a dark red with a golden undertone, it usually works best with any skin tone and hides dark root well.
