Is it possible for your hair to go naturally curly again if you had a relaxer?

I have really long hair and I am chemically straighting it right now but I am trying to go back to having naturally curly hair.

Any hair that has been relaxed will never go back to its natural state. You must either wait for the relaxed hair to grow out or just cut it off and start fresh.

Yes ,you can wait until that relaxer grows out.

yes, once the relaxed part grows out or if the chemical didn't over/bone straighten it in the first place

Absolutely. What determines if your hair is straight or curly is the shape of the hair folicle, in your scalp. The chemical processes you are using to straighten it only affect the hair, not the folicle. As your hair grows out, the curl will return. If your hair is very resiliant, waves might even return before it grows out.

The hair that has been straightened won't go curly again, but the new hair growing in will be your natural hair texture. That would mean having half-straight, half-curly hair and probably don't want to cut it all off. You could call your stylist and see if it would be okay to have the straightened part permed to match the new hair growing in, or if that would be too damaging. She should be able to help you. Good luck!

Yes it Can. But You Are Gonna Have To Let Your Relaxer Grow Out.
