How to make my hair curly?

ive tried curling tongs and rollers, but even with hairspray they don't hold, and most of the time when i use these anyway, my hair just immediately falls down straight. plus, its doing so much damage to my hair... so anyway, is there any other way of getting my hair curly/wavy? ps. please don't suggest a perm im only thirteen... thanks

Try Paul Mitchell Round Trip, I have completely straight hair and this makes mine curl. You use quite a bit and diffuse the hair then you can put your fingers through it to soften it up if you like. But mine waves up nice, this way you are not using a iron. This of course doesn't have the look of a curling iron, but more natural wave. Good Luck!

just leave it straigh t...obvoiusly your hair isnt strong enough or healthy enought to get curly...just stop damaging your hair....plus straight hair looks better...you know how many girls would love to have straight hair

Well I used to do this to my hair when I was a teenager,

Right before I went to sleep, I would part my hair 4 ways and would make 2 braids on each part. It helps if hair is a little damp, and then I would go to sleep with them on. The next morning I would take them out and it would look really wavy and kind of curly. That was my secret for not damaging my hair. When you take out the braids, do not comb, run your fingers through and add some styling gel or mousse. If you brush it, it'll look bushy.

It worked well for me. Now I'm into straight sleek hair. Its funny how that changes.
