Help Tips for Straight hair that wants curly? HELP!!?

My hair is about shoulder length. About 3 years ago I had my hair permed. I want my hair curly/wavy. I've tried scrunching it and just automatically goes back to straight. I use Garnier Fructis Spray Gel Stuff. Every time I use a curling iron, you can tell I used one and its not looking natural. I want mine to look natural. My hair is like a light/dark brunette. By the top its dark and more towards the tip it gets lighter but not really.Hairstyle help needed to! Help please!!! I need this for tomorrow and for my school picture day!

It really helps to curl your hair with a flat iron. Here's some links to some youtube video's that show you how to do it.

I have really straight hair, and this works well for me, I have some but few layers and I part my hair on the side. My hair is generally like the girl in the last video, but I have blonde hair and its a bit shorter.

OOh btw its really important to change the direction in which you curl. Ie curl under, then on the next strand curl over or out. That ensures that your curl isn't uniform and gives it a more natural wavy look.

When curling with the flat iron, make sure you get your hair around the outside of the iron atleast once. Don't really know why, but it seems to help with the curl. :)

The last video shows you how to do it with a curling iron, if you don't have a flat iron. I find this very hard to do, but maybe you will have better luck.

try aussie sprunch spray it is the best and will work , use it right after you wash your hair and scrunch it

Use hot rollers, then scrunch it using mousse.

ok so when you get out of the shower flip your head over and scrunch your roots to your tips then do it again but this time with gel like Aussies tiss no frizz (it works great)

First Of All What Makes Ur Hair Curly Wen U Wash It? Conditioner Right? After Ur Done Washin Ur Hair Leave A Tad Bit Or Put Some In Ur Wet Hair..... Make Sure Ur Hair Strands Are Spread Out.. Use Conditioning Moose Not Regular Moose Then Scrunch It
