How can I make my hair curly and wavy??

I've tried everything I can to make my hair curly/wavy. I've put gel and mousse in it and scrunched it, I've used a curling iron, but my hair just won't wave at all. Any advice? Thanks :)

There is a product by Aussie閳?its called "Sprunch Spray" Spray that into your hair when its damp and use your hands to scrunch it together. Im sure there are other sprays out there, but this one works the best in my opinion. Goodluck!

Is your hair naturally stick straight like mine? What I do is wait for my hair to get a little dirty then take a shower and wet my hair, don't wash it, just wet it. I tie it up in a bun and go to bed. the next morning it's pretty wavy and then I use a curling iron and mousse to maximize the curls/waves, Good luck!

I have bone straight hair and I recently was introduced to a perm called a "texture perm" and it gives good body/wave or slight curl and I find it to be a big plus because i can still blowdry it straight and it isn't flat to my head because the perm gave it body. I've had two of them so far and will get another one in a couple months. If your a white female then you need to try perming your hair. It will make it curly and wavy like you want it to be. I'm not a white female, but I know what perms do for the opposite race. My hair is very, very funny acting too. Usually with black females we have to get perms to straighten our hair if we have naturally curly or course hair. My hair is naturally curly, but I still need to get perms because it makes it managable. The funny thing is when it's time for me to need a perm my hair doesn't like to curl up and it looks really flat and lifeless, but as soon as I perm my hair my hair curls up very tightly and looks great. It all depends on a person't own unique hair no matter what color you are. You have the type of hair that doesn't do well with mousse and gel, and scrunchies. You need something a bit stronger. I have white friends and I know a few who have gotten perms in their hair to give them the look your trying to achieve. Good luck!!!

I use soft bendable curlers to make my daughter's hair curly. You can get them almost anywhere - I bought mine at Walgreens. They're about $6.00 for 10. I'd buy at least two packages. You just take sections of your hair, roll them up at night and take them out in the morning. No pins or anything necessary since they're bendy.

My daughter is four and if these weren't comfortable to sleep in, she wouldn't let me do it.

Lots of fun and you don't have to commit to a perm. I noticed that another answerer recommended Caruso steam curlers. These are GREAT but the machine is a bit pricey. If money is an issue, just go with these little rollers.

it depends on your hair type.if your hair is fine, styling products will not help. it will just weigh your hair down more. then you need a perm. be sure to tell her what you want, so it does not turn out curlier than you want. if your hair is thicker and more course, when you curl, use a thermal spray. spray it on the hair then apply your curling iron or hot rollers, let cool the finger through. biolage has a great one called Thermal Active.

well there is this one thing u can do u should put seven up in ur hair after u have taken a shower then devide ur hair into 1/4 sections.curl ur hair depending on how thick the curls u want and bobby pen them after that just leave it for an 1 h or so then take the pens out n voila.

or u can use pantine oil replasment just put as much as u want on ur wet hair blow dry it and ur ready to go ..
