OK about my hair... it so poofy and curly , my friends think its scary and i dont no wat 2 do wit it and its soooo ugly!!!but ovcorse my mom sayz is sooo cute but im not a lil girl and i dont believe her anyway !! its hard 2 staighten cuz it take 4 ever and i was thinkn 2 permanantly straighten it ??? wat do i do???

If you have really tight curls and very coarse hair, try to chemically straighten it. You'll still have to touch it up with a flat iron, but it will help get it under control. DEEP CONDITION, and don't wash it that often to help keep the oils in your hair and get rid of frizz. As for the poofiness.....ask you stylist to thin your hair out with thinning shears to cut out the bulk. Good luck!

Instead of straightening it permanantly. I would try adding some styling mousse in it when you get out of the shower. Scrunch it, add a little anti frizz serum. And then hairspray it. It will keep your hair from being poofy, and the mousse and hairspray will help define your curls.

I agree with Ellen. I too, have curly hair. Hair cut is important. Not every hairdresser has a knack for cutting curly hair. Check around. When you find a good hairdresser, stick with her. Maintain with trims. I use a good shampoo and conditioner every day. Serum and a moisturizing mouse is a must! Apply right after getting out the shower. Do not dry hair 100%, lightly spray with hairspray, and there you got, a beautiful you.

use pantene pro v conditioner and straightening mouse..and then when you hair dries you can either straighten it or use a gell that smoothes hair but doesnt harden it. after that your hair will be perfect! no fly-aways or anything!
